This week at Jennifer hosted our Challenge over at PAMC. She chose Altered Cd's. :) Let me tell you I LOVE doing altered projects. A lightbulb lit in my mind when she told us what the challenge would be because I have this drab wall clock that I have hated. I've wanted to alter that clock forever and just never got around to it. Perfect opportunity! Of course the hubby thought I was insane when he walked in my studio and he saw me holding a clock that was 1/2 way dismanteled .lol. But being the hubby that he is, he didn't ask questions lmbo.
So like I said. I tore apart the old clock and made my own face for it using a cd for the center of the face. I decided that this was going to go in our bedroom so I wanted to use blues to match everything else :) This is how the face looked when I was finished.
I used: different types of scrap papers, ice blue ribbon, cutouts from a paperI sanded the outside of the clock and then painted it black and sealed it with glaze. Then I just put it all together. :) Here is the before and after of the clock :D (SORRY the after is a side view, I couldn't get a shot of it without the glare from the lights & the flash) This was tons of fun!
punchout packet by colorbok, crystal stickles, my flower punch w/ white
cardstock, black ink and alpha stamps (sorry not sure by who)
Check out PAMC & maybe join in on the fun!
